Q & A
Is accommodation included in the price of the training program?
No, accommodation is not included in the Program fee. Participants are responsible for arranging and funding their own lodging at Kientalerhof during in-person residencies.
Are participants from all countries welcome to apply?
Yes, we welcome applicants from all countries who meet the eligibility criteria, can travel to the training location, and have sufficient English proficiency to participate in online and in-person education and discussions.
What qualifications do I need to be eligible for the training?
You should be a licensed mental health professional (e.g., therapist, psychologist, psychiatrist) or pursuing licensure, with clinical experience. Trauma-informed care training is a plus but not mandatory.
I’m not currently working in psychedelic-assisted therapy (PAT) but plan to in the future. Can I still register?
Yes. We encourage professionals with relevant mental health experience and a commitment to PAT to apply, even if you’re not currently practicing in the field.
What does the training program include?
The Program includes online coursework and a full week in-person residencies to equip you with theoretical PAT skills and knowledge.
Can I participate if I can’t attend the in-person residencies?
No, in-person residencies are mandatory due to the hands-on nature of the training. Attendance is required for certification.
How long does it take to receive a response after submitting an application?
We aim to review all applications and respond within two weeks of submission with a decision or next steps.
When do I pay for the training program?
There is a CHF 50 non-refundable fee for the review of your application. Upon acceptance, participants must pay 50% of the Program fee within 14 days of acceptance, with the final 50% due by 15th November 2025. If registering after November 15, 2025, the full program fee must be paid within 14 days of acceptance. Full payment instructions will be provided in your acceptance letter.
How does billing work?
The payment of the CHF 50 application fee is processed via the payment provider Stripe. The payment link can be found at the end of the application form. Payment can be made by credit card, eps-transfer, or Bancontact.
An invoice will be issued for the program fees, which should be paid via bank transfer (preferably SEPA).
What happens if I need to cancel my participation? Is it fully refundable?
Refunds depend on timing and exclude the CHF 50 application fee:
- By 31st July 2025: Full refund of the initial 50% payment.
- From 1st August 2025: No refund of the initial payment.
- Within 4 weeks of the start date: Non-refundable, except in documented medical emergencies, where a full or partial refund may be considered at our discretion.
What happens if the training does not take place?
If the Program is canceled by us for any reason, all participants will receive a full reimbursement of payments made (not including the CHF 50 application fee), processed within 30 days of the cancellation announcement.
